Cee Sun

Cee Sun -

Yearling Stud Prospect
Own son of Mr. Sun O Lena. His dam is one of Frank Perkin's best broodmares. She has earned money in cutting and a full brother was the highest price horse sold at a Frank Perkins sale - $85,000. So far am very pleased with him and really like his pedigree. I also own a broodmare that is a full sister to him and her foals have been the first to get picked.

WESTERN HORSE REVIEW Magazine has a picture of Ima Sun Ofa Gun on the front cover of their August issue. It shows off his big brown soft eye ( the mares sure like them eyes! ).

You can learn more about "Gun" here. Shortly there will be more pictures of him on the site.

4473308 - Grullo/Gray

(Bred by Jill Galt, Galt Ranch, White Sulphur Springs, MT)

“Gun’s” dam “Sixes Peppy Olena” was bred by the 6666 Ranch, Guthrie, TX. On the bottom side of her pedigree she goes back to the “Natural” mare line which Dr Blodgett who manages the ranches horse operation says is a mare family that has served the 6666 legacy exceptionally well, continually producing champions in the major reining, cutting, roping and reined cowhorse events.
The 6666 Ranch has been showing a mare “Sunshine Ingredient” who is a full sister to “Sixes Peppy Olena”. She qualified for the 2006 Open Sr World Cutting Show. Their stallion “Sixes Pick” goes back to the “Natural” mare line as do a number of stallions on several of the bigger Texas cattle and horse ranches that are involved in the Remuda Sale‘s.
I spent three separate weeks traveling through Texas and Oklahoma looking at stallions and their offspring and  two of the stallions that intrigued me the most due to their disposition, versatility, conformation and flawless  pedigrees were Playgun and Mr Sun O Lena. I feel fortunate to have found two stallions with both these great horses up close in their pedigrees.  The 6666 Ranch cowboys tell me they really like the Mr Sun O Lena horses because of their disposition and cow sense.
